Aristotle wrote, “We are what we repeatedly do.” We are our habits. Our habits begin somewhere...and then become unconscious.
What’s something that you do typically, maybe daily, that isn’t pushing you towards your goals?
Maybe you watch mindless tv every night for a couple hours before bed. Maybe you’re reading this, thinking, “I don’t even know what goals I have.” First of all, there’s nothing wrong with that. But, if you have the DESIRE to be a better version of yourself—I’m going to challenge you.
From now on, cut out the tv. It’s going to be uncomfortable at first. Replace that habit with journaling about your goals. Write about what your dream life looks like. Write about what’s getting in your way. Write about how you’re already one step closer to accomplishing this dream...just by changing one habit.
Then change another. Or create another.
