An attitude of gratitude... As I was taking my mindfulness practitioner course this morning, something the instructor impacted me.
He was discussing the 7 factors for enlightenment—one being gratitude.
I’d consider myself a pretty thankful person. I typically thank God more than I ask him for things. But still...something inside me has felt a bit off lately.
So, yesterday I decided to sit down and make a gratitude list. I really thought about everything I wrote down, too.
Now I get it. Again.
I’ve found my peace again; I feel content with the moment (even when negative emotions are present). I’m sure there will be a time where I don’t feel so calm—but for now, I am grateful.
